Future Perfect mempunyai dua bentuk yang berbeda dalam bahasa Inggris yaitu bentuk "will have been verb ing" dan "be going to have been verb ing." Dalam Future Perfect Continuous Tense ke duanya bermakna sama yaitu “Akan sudah sedang berlangsung selama .....”

EXAMPLES:
(KALIMAT +) You will have been doing the project for more than two days when our boss arrives.
(KALIMAT - ) You will have not been doing the project for more than two days when our boss arrives.

B.     Time Signal of Future Perfect Continuous Tense

Dalam future perfect text kita sering menggunakan kata keterangan waktu seperti:

1.    By next November, By Monday, etc

2.    By the time + S + V1/TOBE [is/am/are]

3.    Before + S + V1/TOBE [is/am/are]

4.    When + S + V1/TOBE [is/am/are]

5.    All of the above ofthe appear together with “For ........... (duration of time)”

C.     Fungsi Simple Future Perfect Continuous Tense

Dalam bahasa Inggris, Future Perfect Tense mempunyai beberapa fungsi sebagai berikut:

1. Menyatakan durasi waktu dari sebuah acara yang akan sedang dilakukan di masa depan sebelum acara lain terjadi. Duration Before Something in the Future.
2. Menyatakan lantaran terjadinya sesuatu di masa depan. Cause of why something happens in the Future. Secara detail Englishiana membahas fungsi-fungsi Future Perfect Continuous Tense tersebut beserta misalnya di bawah ini.

1 Menyatakan durasi waktu dari sebuah acara yang akan sedang dilakukan di masa depan sebelum acara lain terjadi khusunya

Pada fungsi ini present perfect continuous menyatakan wacana suatu acara yang akan sedang dilakukan selama durasi waktu tertentu semisal for three hours, for a month, for a week etc di masa depan. Perlu diingat bahwa fungsi ini sama dengan Present Perfect Continuous jika merupakan kebiasaan / terjadi ketika ini dan Past Perfect Continuous kalau terjadi di masa lalu; di mana dalam Future Perfect Continuous, durasi waktu tersebut berhenti pada atau sebelum waktu tertentu di masa depan.

Examples:

1. We will have been studying seriously for over an hour by the time Thomy arrives here.
2. She is going to have been working at Indomerit for three years when he finally gets married next month.
3. Jane will have been teaching at university of Lampung for more than two years by the time he leaves for Oxford University.
4. How long will you have been studying in this campus when you graduate?
5. We are going to have been driving for over three days straight when we get to Aceh tomorrow.
6. A: When you finish your research, will you have been living in Ohio for over a year?
   B: No, I will not have been living here that long.

INGAT!

Catatan yang perlu diingat yakni acara yang terjadi bersamaan (kata yang bercetak miring pada pola di atas) harus dalam bentuk  Simple Present bukan dalam Simple Future. Hal ini disebabkan oleh keterangan yang menggunakan klausa waktu when...kita tidak sanggup menggunakan keterangan waktu tersebut dalam klausa future tense. Semisal. I will have been finishing my project for an hour when you will arrive tomorrow.

1 Menyatakan lantaran terjadinya sesuatu di masa depan. Cause of why something happens in the Future

Menggunakan Future Perfect Continuous sebelum kejadian lain terjadi di masa depan juga sanggup untuk menunjukkan lantaran mengapa sesuatu terjadi di masa depan.

Examples:

1. Jason will be tired when he gets home because he will have been practicing hard for over an hour.
2. Claudia's English will be perfect when she returns to Indonesia because she is going to have been studying English intensively in Oxford University for over three years.

D.  Future Continuous vs. Future Perfect Continuous

Jika anda tidak menyampaikan sudah berapa usang suatu acara akan sedang terjadi di masa depan dengan menggunakan kata keterangan menyerupai "for five minutes," "for two weeks" atau "since Friday," maka sebaiknya anda menggunakan Future Continuous begitu pula sebaliknya. Berhati-hatilah dalam membedakan ke dua tenses tersebut Future Continuous menekankan bahwa suatu acara yang akan sedang berlangsung di masa depan akan terganggu oleh acara lain sedangkan Present Perfect Continuous menekankan sudah berapa usang suatu acara akan sedang berlangsung di masa depan sebelum acara lain terjadi kemudian. Perhatikan pola di bawah ini semoga semakin memahami perbedaan ini.

Examples:

1. He will be exercising when I come tomorrow.
2. He will have been exercising for two hours when I come tomorrow.

E.  REMEMBER Non-Continuous Verbs / Mixed Verbs

Sangat penting untuk tetap diingat bahwa Non-Continuous Verbs tidak sanggup digunakan dalam continuous tense manapun, termasuk juga Future Perfect Continuous. Begitu pula beberapa arti khusus dari Mixed Verbs . Jika kita ingin menggunakan kata kerja-kata kerja tersebut untuk menyatakan sudah berapa usang suatu acara akan dilaksanakan pada masa depan maka kita harus menyatakannya dalam Future Perfect.

Examples:Examples:

1. Ned will have been having this motorcycle for over two years when I finally graduate from my study. Not Correct
2. Ned will have had this motorcycle for over two years when I finally graduate from my study. Correct

F.  Active / Passive Voice in Future Perfect Tense

Examples:

1. The famous artist will have been painting Anda’s body for over one hour by the time it is finished. Active
2. Anda’s body will have been being painted by the famous artist for over one hour by the time it is finished. Passive
3. The famous artist is going to have been painting Anda’s body for over one hour by the time it is finished. Active
4. Anda’s body is going to have been being painted by the famous artist for over one hour by the time it is finished. Passive
